How we proceed with weight loss Plan
At first instant we study the body type according to Ayurveda concepts. We study the nature of body and classify the body type. Dr Raman analyze the nature and body type with reference to vata, pitta and kafa the three principal factors of Ayurveda.
Next Step is to study the blood reports to examine whether person is suffering from any disease or under medication. This includes detailed analysis of one’s long and short term dietary habits and based on medical status, genetic history and weight gain graph and more, customized diets are planned. Dr Raman give vital importance to these factors and make through medical checkup before she fix the diet plan for you.
At ‘ Ask Diet” Dr Raman never recommend any medicine, food supplement, meal replacement, Crash Diets or recommended any machine use to weight loss program. The diet to a person is only recommended after considering above factors so that the body can absorb and utilize the nutrients.

No Skipping of Meals :
Our concept as mentioned above says no for skipping of meal. The reason is that skipping will lead to reduction in the rate of metabolism. You can lose some weight, but when this happens you end up eating a lot more later on in the day. The weight you lost will just come back. Skipping meals is not the healthiest option for your diet plan. Similarly meal replacement or one type meal is not a permanent solution, a day will come when one will realize that he is missing the tasty and nutritious meals enjoyed by others and he is fed up of having same type of stuff. We are totally against any type of medicine for the sake of losing weight.

How is the progress measured ?
Each week we will perform a body analysis with a body analyzer machine at our clinic, record your results and then create your diet plan for the following week based on these results and any other feedback you may have.

What we Expect
One does not gain weight overnight, so one should not even expect to lose weight overnight. Our diet and nutrition section brings to you information on everything from efficient and effective weight management to getting right nutrition for health. Dr Raman do not believe in crash diets that claim that you lose weight a week.
